The BIPOC Creative Cohort is a six-week facilitated gathering designed for Black, Indigenous, and People of Color seeking space for creative exploration, reflection, and community connection. Using collage and watercolor as primary mediums, participants are invited to deepen their relationship with creativity while developing a sustainable artistic practice in a supportive, nonjudgmental environment. Inspired by the work of Richard Mayhew and rooted in the belief that creativity flourishes through curiosity, connection, and self-discovery, the cohort emphasizes process over perfection. Whether participants are new to art-making or returning to an existing practice, the series offers a welcoming space to explore personal narratives, experiment with materials, and build creative momentum alongside others on a similar journey.
